EVENT SUMMARY
The Digital Supply Chain Institute (DSCI) of the Center for Global Enterprise is pleased to
announce an exciting Executive Leadership Forum on October 12 th and 13 th at the Under
Armour world headquarters in Baltimore Maryland. This by-invitation- only event will bring
together no more than100 supply chain leaders from around the world. The goal of the
meeting is to share the research conducted by the DSCI and 25 top global companies and to
engage the participants in a deep discussion of transformative actions necessary to create a
Digital Supply Chain. The theme for the digital transformation is the “Frontside Flip,” which
captures the spirit of customer focus and demand management that will increase revenue by
10% and reduce costs by 20%.
October 12 includes a walk through of Under Armour’s state-of- the-art supply chain facility
and a welcome dinner that sets the objectives for the session.
October 13 features a variety of topics including:
- The vision for the Digital Supply Chain
- How to execute a set of Essential Performance Metrics based on DSCI’s six-month
deep-dive research of supply chain performance metrics - How to assess Digital Supply Chain maturity using a new tool created by the DSCI
- A CEO discussion lead by Retired Chairman and CEO of IBM, Sam Palmisano and
other industry leaders - The results of Blockchain technology for supply chain pilots, conducted by the DSCI,
will also be announced as will the work in progress on Big Data and AI for Demand
The focus of the Executive Leadership forum will be on generating useful information and a
network of fellow leaders that can help your company make the transition to a Digital Supply
Chain.
The event will be hosted by Under Armour, SAP, ZTE, and Li & Fung.
