Thanh Nguyen is an AI Researcher/Engineer and Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Knowledge Representation, Logical Reasoning, and Machine Learning. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from New Mexico State University and has contributed to advanced AI platforms, with projects spanning Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Semantic Reasoning, Automated Planning, compiler design, and advanced NLP for Elemental Cognition.
Thanh’s background includes developing scalable AI solutions, from domain-specific knowledge modeling to high-performance, multi-platform applications, that transform complex problem-solving requirements into intelligent, deployable systems. He is also skilled in designing and implementing scalable, distributed systems and micro-services architectures that support high-demand AI and software applications, ensuring performance and reliability across large-scale environments.
Currently, Thanh is focused on developing and fine-tuning Machine Learning models and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance Natural Language Understanding. By processing unstructured data sources–such as PDFs, websites, and documents–he extracts accurate structured data and performs tasks like text analysis and natural language understanding to support downstream computational tasks with precision and depth.
