The Institute for Education and CGE host lunch discussion on Globalization 2.0: Tomorrow’s Opportunities & Markets

lunch-discussion-globalization-2.0The Institute for Education in partnership with The Center for Global Enterprise hosted guest speakers Samuel J. Palmisano, Chris Caine, and Peter Evans for a discussion about future opportunities and markets as brought forth from CGE’s recently released Growing Global: Lessons for the New Enterprise.

The conversation held in Washington, DC included Ambassadors and representatives from select media organizations.

There was keen focus given to the new business models, the rise of platform companies and their impact on economic development strategies, and the interdependence of business and government.

H.E. Jose L. Cuisia, Jr., Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines stated “As an ambassador, I am always searching to learn about economic changes and new approaches my country can take regarding economic development. The discussion today with Sam Palmisano and his colleagues from the Center for Global Enterprise was very illuminating.”
