Kristen Palmisano is the Director of Public and Media Relations for the Center for Global Enterprise. Her role is to develop and drive the Center’s public relations, media, and marketing efforts. Prior to joining the Center for Global Enterprise, Mrs. Palmisano spent 7 years working in the book publishing industry in the publicity and marketing departments of Random House and Penguin Books.
At Random House, she worked with a wide portfolio of authors and book genres including commercial and literary fiction and a variety of non-fiction categories such as history, business, and biographies. She was responsible for implementing unique publicity strategies and executing book campaigns and tours. Most recently, she spent 2 years as a senior publicist and marketer for the business, politics, and science imprints at Penguin Books. She managed publicity and marketing campaigns for best–sellers such as Tap Dancing to Work: Warren Buffett on Practically Everything by Carol Loomis and Hatching Twitter by Nick Bilton.
Mrs. Palmisano has a bachelor’s degree from Denison University with a double major in International Studies and Spanish.
